Following the April 21 WWE Raw After WrestleMania 41, John Cena has only 27 WWE dates left, and another has been confirmed.
The WWE Champion has previously been confirmed for the May 10 WWE Backlash, taking place in St. Louis, Missouri.
Following the events of WWE Raw After WrestleMania, Randy Orton’s attack on John Cena suggests that as a potential match, despite the champion’s belief that he just has to show up and not necessarily wrestle.
As for post-Backlash plans, it now appears that John Cena could be making another WWE PLE.
With Money in the Bank having been announced for June 7, 2025, a new graphic features John Cena.
The graphic can be seen below, with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Penta, Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso, Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, Rey Mysterio, GUNTHER, Bianca Belair, Seth Rollins and Tiffany Stratton also featured.
Currently, no matches have been confirmed for the upcoming PLE, with plans for John Cena also not being known at the time of writing.
At WrestleMania 41, Jacob Fatu defeated LA Knight to capture the United States Championship, marking his first title win since signing in April 2024.
In the Night Two WrestleMania 41 main event, Cena’s victory over Cody Rhodes saw the soon-to-be-retired star become a record-breaking seventeen-time WWE World Champion.
Tiffany Stratton also retained the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair, herself a record-holding fourteen-time women’s champion.
