An update has emerged on John Cena’s WWE schedule, with the WWE Champion announced for a notable show on his retirement tour.
With Cena successfully defending his gold against Randy Orton at Backlash, there has been some speculation about what’s next for the 17-time world champion.
Ahead of two major appearances, Cena has been announced for a significant episode of WWE TV.
WWE.com is now advertising John Cena for the June 9 edition of WWE Raw in Phoenix, Arizona at the PHX Arena.
This will be the first Raw episode following the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, which will emanate from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on June 7.
While the card is subject to change, the following names are listed under the Featured Superstars tab for this Raw show:
John Cena, GUNTHER, Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Kofi Kingston.
As was announced on the May 12 Raw episode, the June 9 show will also see GUNTHER challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The champion is expected to be either Jey Uso or Logan Paul, with Main Event Jey set to put his title on the line against the Maverick at the May 24 Saturday Night’s Main Event special.
John Cena is also being advertised for this Saturday Night’s Main Event, as well as Money in the Bank.
While his opponents haven’t officially been announced, a former rival rumored to be facing John Cena has now teased facing the WWE Champion.
