John Cena WWE TV Schedule After Royal Rumble 2025 Update

John Cena WWE TV Schedule After Royal Rumble 2025 Update WWE

John Cena has provided an update on his WWE schedule following his shocking loss in the 2025 Royal Rumble match.

With 2025 being Cena’s final year as an in-ring competitor, many fans were predicting that he was going to win the Royal Rumble match.

This ultimately didn’t happen, with Cena making it to the final two, before being eliminated by ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso.

While many fans were expecting Cena to appear on WWE TV regularly ahead of the February 1 Premium Live Event, the 16-time world champion only appeared on the January 6 Raw episode ahead of Royal Rumble.

Cena has now confirmed that he will be off TV for another month, ahead of competing in the Elimination Chamber match.

Confirming that he’s currently in the middle of filming a movie, Cena noted the following in the Royal Rumble post-show press conference:

“And yes, I’m flying back to Hungary to film a movie. What I’m going to do is give my five other opponents one month to slander my name and bolster their self-confidence the best that I can.”
