John Cena is still the Undisputed WWE Champion and may be getting new theme music, according to a recent tease.
WWE Night of Champions on June 28 saw Cena defeat CM Punk in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, continuing his retirement year championship reign.
Cena continues to use his “The Time Is Now” entrance theme, which dates back to its recording in 2004 and featured on his album “You Can’t See Me”.
That could all change, if a tease seen on Twitter is any indication, thanks to record producer and music executive, Metro Boomin.
Boomin has previously shared his interest in producing the WWE entrance theme for Jacob Fatu, but now appears to have turned his attention to Cena.
In a tweet posted on June 29, Boomin shared a shot of his production space, featuring a replica of the WWE United States Championship stylized for Cena during his Word Life era.
The tweet can be seen below this news story and didn’t feature a caption or comment from Boomin.
With a computer screen occupying the center of the image, it’s clear that Boomin was working on something music-related, though not clear as to what that would be.
Metro Boomin provided the theme song for WWE Bad Blood in 2024 and also shared an interest in producing a new theme for Judgment Day.
