Logan Paul has recalled what John Cena said to him backstage about his match with AJ Styles at WWE WrestleMania 41.
Both Paul and Cena were in action at WrestleMania 41 Night Two. Prior to John Cena defeating Cody Rhodes for his 17th WWE world title, Logan Paul capitalised on a distraction from Karrion Kross to defeat AJ Styles.
Speaking on his ImPaulsive podcast, Logan Paul revealed that John Cena praised him backstage following his match for his work as a heel.
Noting that Cena made these comments shortly after he pinned AJ Styles, Paul said:
“Later in the day after my match (John Cena) was walking by, before he became the GOAT statistically, he pointed at me and said ‘Now that’s how a bad guy works.’
“I was all sweaty, it was right after my match. He looked me in the eye and pointed at me and said ‘Now that’s how a bad guy works.'”
