John Cena’s Father Names Dream Opponents For Son’s Final WWE Match WWE

John Cena’s father has named his dream opponents for John Cena’s last match next weekend at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

With John Cena set for his final match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event next Saturday, the finals of the Last Time Is Now tournament will take place this Friday on SmackDown, with GUNTHER and LA Knight facing off for the right to be Cena’s final opponent.

Wrestling fans all over the world have had their thoughts on who they wanted to see Cena step into the ring with during his final match, and Cena’s father has now also given his thoughts.

Speaking on All Axxess Entertainment, John Cena Sr noted that he doesn’t believe Cena’s final opponent in Washington DC should be GUNTHER, claiming that GUNTHER ‘doesn’t need the rub’ from facing Cena.

When asked for his own ideal opponents for his son’s final match, Cena Sr named Kurt Angle, Adam Copeland (Edge), Chris Jericho and JBL as his ideal opponents for Cena’s last match.

Tony Khan has previously noted that WWE have not reached out to AEW in regards to Adam Copeland being a part of Cena’s retirement tour.
