John Morrison has replied to PWInsider’s claims he’s signed with WWE. Basically, he’s thanked PWInsider for letting him know this has happened.
Thanks for the heads up @PWInsidercom 🤣 please lemme know when I’m signed with AEW- or ROH

John Morrison most recently wrestled for Impact Wrestling. He has also recently appeared on Being The Elite.
Morrison has often been cited for his desire to continue working in the entertainment industry. Speculation after he left Impact Wrestling seemed to point to him looking for a less demanding schedule to allow for him to grow in Hollywood.
WWE doesn’t seem like a place with a less demanding schedule. On the other hand, WWE has its own production studios and many WWE superstars have gone on to careers in Hollywood.
Although, we don’t want to speculate too much. His wife, Taya, might not like it.
The gossip I’ve read about myself and my husband in the last 24hrs is astounding 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wherever Johnny winds up he will definitely have an impact on its roster. He’s been a champion in just about every stop he’s made.
Morrison was the Impact World Champion during his time Impact Wrestling. He won the title from Austin Aries in a very controversial fashion.
Morrison, known as Johnny Mundo, also was the champion in Lucha Underground. He also held multiple titles in WWE during his previous stint.
With the wrestling world heading into uncharted territory in the next week, Morrison is one of the bigger free agent names on the market. I’m sure WWE, AEW, MLW, ROH, and even Impact Wrestling would like to have him join their company.
