AAA has announced that John Hennigan (fka WWE’s John Morrison) will return to the promotion at the upcoming Rey De Reyes event.
At the February 19, 2022 show, Hennigan will challenge for the AAA Mega Championship. In a video shared by AAA, Hennigan called out Hijo Del Vikingo, arguing that the champion is a prodigy, while he and Kenny Omega are legends:

Hennigan last wrestled for AAA in 2018, losing the Mega Title to Rey Wagner during the Guerra De Titanes event. Mundo returned to WWE in 2019. He was let go by the company in November, two weeks after his wife, Taya Valkyrie was released.
