Johnny Gargano has now taken to social media to comment on his emotional (and possibly final) NXT appearance.
Ahead of Gargano’s WWE contract expiring on Friday’ the former NXT Champion featured on Tuesday’s show, recalling the biggest moments from his time on the brand.
After the show went off the air, Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly – whose contract is also reportedly up this week – appeared to receive a send-off from Shawn Michaels and Tommaso Ciampa.
On Twitter, Gargano has shared photos of himself bidding farewell to the developmental brand. Hoping that he made his fans proud, Johnny Wrestling tweeted:
“Even after last night.. I still can’t put EVERYTHING I’d like to say into words right now. Just know that I appreciate all of you more than I can ever really express. Hope I made ya proud.”

If it is the final time we see Gargano in NXT, we wish Gargano all the best, and look forward to seeing what he decides to do next.
