Johnny Gargano Makes Hilarious Pitch To Peacock Following WWE Raw

WWE star Johnny Gargano has made a hilarious pitch to Peacock via Twitter following yesterday’s (October 31) edition of WWE Raw.

The pitch was made in reference to a fake “true crime”-style segment about the ongoing feud between Dexter Lumis and the Miz.

In the segment, Gargano gave a hilarious, largely inaccurate and meandering explanation of the events surrounding the feud, including a summary of the pair’s time together in NXT.

The tongue-in-cheek pitch arose when Gargano replied to a fan who wrote a tweet referencing the old NXT trope of wrestlers getting beaten up in the promotion’s parking lot:

“They need to do another episode on the NXT parking lot. WWE Investigates. #WWERaw”

Gargano retweeted the user, adding:

“Hey @peacock! A WWE Investigates series where I go around with my band of “re-enactment actors” and look into unsolved mysteries sounds pretty good..”

Prior to their call up to the main WWE roster, Lumis and Gargano shared a months-long storyline in NXT, in which Lumis dated Gargano’s so-called adoptive daughter Indi Hartwell.

Though the two did not see eye-to-eye at first, they eventually came to respect one another.
