Jon Moxley AEW Dynamite Status Update Amid Severe Weather Concerns AEW

An update has emerged on the status of Jon Moxley for tonight’s AEW Dynamite (March 19) amid severe weather concerns in Omaha, NE.

As reported earlier today, the status of tonight’s AEW Dynamite was thrown into doubt due to a severe weather alert in Omaha as a blizzard has taken hold of the region.

Despite the concern, Tony Khan confirmed on social media that Dynamite would still be going ahead, and now a new report has revealed details of AEW World Champion Jon Moxley’s efforts to make the show.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed that Moxley was forced to drive roughly 11 hours to get to the Liberty First Credit Union Arena due to being unable to get a flight in:

“As of about an hour ago, 10% of the people that were supposed to be at Dynamite still were not there yet.

“There were several individuals that were supposed to fly in and they couldn’t, so they drove in. So if you didn’t find out about this until this morning, you ain’t getting in brother, it ain’t happening.

“I believe Jon Moxley’s one of the people that drove like 11 hours to get to the building because they couldn’t fly in.”

In a video posted by AEW on Twitter, Cope said:

“I’m here in Omaha because I’m a goddamn pro…

“A blizzard was not gonna keep a Canadian from taking the AEW World Championship. We’re here, so you get here too.”
