Jon Moxley has issued a challenge for the upcoming NJPW Resurgence US show, noting that he’ll bring a “surprise” to the event.
NJPW has shared a new segment featuring Jon Moxley, filmed after Wednesday’s AEW Fight for the Fallen show. During the segment, Moxley challenged Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows to meet him at NJPW Resurgence on August 14.
Moxley teased that he would be bringing a friend to the show, stating that he’ll have a surprise for The Good Brothers. NJPW shared Moxley’s challenge on Twitter:

Moxley recently defended the IWGP US Championship against Karl Anderson at AEW Fyter Fest night one on July 14. Lance Archer defeated Moxley for the title the following week.
Archer will defend the IWGP gold against Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Resurgence. A recent report revealed that it is likely that Moxley will face Tanahashi at AEW All Out on September 5.
NJPW Resurgence will be the first US NJPW event to feature a live crowd since last February’s New Beginning in the USA show.
