Jon Moxley Was Meant To Be Off TV For Six Weeks Following All Out AEW

It has now been revealed that Jon Moxley originally planned to go on a six week vacation following recent AEW backstage drama.

In the main event of All Out, CM Punk defeated Jon Moxley to win back the AEW World Championship. In the media scrum immediately after the show, CM Punk went on a verbal tirade, targeting the AEW EVPs, among others.

Punk, Ace Steel, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks were all allegedly involved in a backstage fight after Punk’s verbal tirade, leading to their suspensions.

Per a previous report, Jon Moxley was booked for the September 7 edition of Dynamite following the alleged altercation.

In a new episode of The Tyrus and Timpf Podcast, , Robert Anthony revealed that Moxley intended to go on vacation following the September 4 pay-per-view, noting:

“(Moxley’s) doing good. Man, he was supposed to be on vacation, six weeks, we were going to go fishing. Now he’s back to work, he’s not too happy about it.

“He’s pissed off and he’s back at work and he cut a hell of a promo on Wednesday. We’ll see where it goes, you know what I mean? It’s just a lot of negatives in the positives over there.”

Moxley was one of the names who reportedly led the talent meeting that took place ahead of the September 7 episode, along with Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho. For details on the backstage reaction to the meeting, click here.
