It hasn’t been the best of weeks for Jon Moxley (or Dean Ambrose if you’re still on that boat).
First he was forced to pull out of his match with Kenny Omega at AEW All Out due to an elbow injury, and now it’s been announced that he’s also been forced out of all Starrcast appearances.
Conrad Thompson made the announcement early on Thursday (August 29) morning, assuring fans that refunds will be given for anyone who had booked to see Moxley.
We received word today that unfortunately @JonMoxley won’t be able to travel to @StarrcastEvents. Once he got the word from his doctor he told us, “I’m sorry, this sucks.” I’m sure we all echo those sentiments. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him soon.

Everyone who purchased his meet and greet has been notified via email. Refunds will begin being processed tomorrow. His stage show has been cancelled and a new schedule will be released tomorrow.

Moxley has contracted MRSA, which is incredibly contagious and can be passed on through direct human contact, so there is little chance that he will be able to make public appearances until his health improves.
Get well soon, Mr Moxley Ambrose.
