Former NXT North American Champion JONAH (fka Bronson Reed) has confirmed the length of his current agreement with IMPACT Wrestling.
JONAH previously stated that his deal with the promotion is a short-term agreement, while discussing his plans for 2022. Speaking with WrestleZone, JONAH revealed that he’ll wrestle for IMPACT until April at the earliest, with his current deal running through the Rebellion pay-per-view.
Looking forward to touring the US with IMPACT, JONAH said:
“My agreement with IMPACT is through Rebellion, so I know that I’ll be out there on this tour through Rebellion. I think it’s exciting to be on the road and be in different cities where those people can see IMPACT Wrestling rather than being set in one place. I very much had that with what NXT became after the pandemic, it was set in one place in Florida, and not that that’s not great (having a steady venue), wrestling there is good but it’s always good when you can go to different towns and get a feel from different crowds.
JONAH debuted for IMPACT at Turning Point in November, brutalizing former World Champion Josh Alexander. JONAH faces off against Alexander at Hard To Kill on January 8.
Ahead of the April 23 pay-per-view, IMPACT has announced a ‘Road To Rebellion’ touring schedule for early 2022.
