Former WWE star Jonathan Coachman has joked about reports of CM Punk leaving AEW.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, AEW feared that CM Punk may have quit the company due to recent frustrations.
Retweeting the report, former WWE star Jonathan Coachman joked about the reports, stating that he hasn’t watched wrestling in a long time, but he was shocked Punk was quitting a wrestling company.
The Coach wrote the following:
Wait. I haven’t watched in a long time. CM Punk walk out on a brand? Gasp!!! Shocking. Lol.
As previously mentioned, CM Punk’s frustrations with All Elite Wrestling stems from his real-life heat with Hangman Page following the promo material from promos leading into Double Or Nothing.
