ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will be in action on next Friday’s (July 8) edition of AEW Rampage.
In an interview segment on this week’s show, Jonathan Gresham noted that he plans to prove that he’s the best technical wrestler in the world next week when he teams with Lee Moriarty to face Kaun & Toa Liona of the Gates of Agony.
Tully Blanchard and the Gates of Agony notably called out the ROH World Champion on last week’s show.
Gresham last wrestled for AEW at Battle of the Belts II, defending his ROH World Title against Dalton Castle.
Tully Blanchard Enterprises, featuring the Gates of Agony and Brian Cage, was formed at ROH Supercard of Honor in April. In the main event of that show, Gresham defeated Bandido to become the undisputed ROH World Champion.
ROH will host its next pay-per-view, Death Before Dishonor, on July 23.
Also on this week’s edition of AEW Rampage, Brody King won the Royal Rampage match to become #1 contender to Jon Moxley’s AEW World Title.
