It looks like another top free agent name may be on their way to All Elite Wrestling or maybe Ring of Honor.
Per Fightful Select, there has been indications that ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham will be working under Tony Khan in some capacity.
As of this writing, it isn’t clear whether it will be for AEW, ROH or a combination of both.
Gresham was recently backstage at AEW Dynamite for the February 23 taping in Bridgeport, Connecticut the night before his TERMINUS event in Atlanta.
Tony Khan announced that he bought ROH on the March 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. During the Revolution media scrum, Khan said he would be continuing the ROH wrestling operation.
Fightful was told that the tentative plan prior to Tony Khan’s purchase of Ring of Honor Wrestling was to have Jonathan Gresham vs. Bandido in a ROH Title Unification Match at Supercard of Honor in Dallas on April 1.
However, this contest hasn’t been confirmed or announced at this time.
We will have further updates on Jonathan Gresham when they become available.
