The Walking Weapon Josh Alexander is discussing the time he was referenced by Brandi Rhodes on AEW television.
Speaking on Fightful’s The List & Ya Boy, Josh Alexander described the ‘synergistic thing’ that amplified the recent program
On that infamous name drop on AEW television where Brandi Rhodes told Ethan Page they had only signed him to get to Alexander and whether or not he knew it was coming, he said:
“I had no idea. I thought it was all a big work between management and IMPACT and they were just helping each other out, trying to make things even more, but it all snowballed. The Brandi thing happened and that was them doing whatever they wanted to do. Even Ethan Page working Christian, whose last match was against me two and a half months ago, was this weird synergistic thing that happened. It was all happenstance and amplified it even more.”
Josh Alexander made his IMPACT return at Sacrifice this past weekend by attacking Moose and challenging him to rematch for the IMPACT World Title at Rebellion.
Moose defeated Josh Alexander for the title at Bound For Glory in October by cashing in his Call Your Shot trophy mere moments after Alexander had won it, after defeating Christian Cage.
IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion will take place on Saturday, April 23 from Poughkeepsie, New York. So far the only other match announced for the show is Trey Miguel vs. two as to be determined, opponents in a three way match for the Impact X Division Championship.
