There has been an update on the future of two-time former TNA Wrestling World Champion Josh Alexander, amid reported interest from AEW and WWE.
Following the airing of his final match in TNA on last week’s episode of iMPACT (February 13), much has been reported regarding the future of The Walking Weapon.
Alexander is now officially a free agent after his TNA contract expired on February 14, with a recent report from Fightful Select revealing that he is expected to join AEW, according to those within the industry and close with Alexander.
While WWE have also been linked to Alexander, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has provided a new update on his future, noting that Alexander is in negotiations with “several companies” and is being represented by Barry Bloom amid his free agency.
Bloom has represented many top names in wrestling, from WWE Hall of Famers Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Goldberg to AEW stars Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay.
It was not mentioned which companies Alexander is speaking too, but we will provide further updates on his future as more information becomes available.
