Josh Alexander Is Ready For The Biggest Match Of His Career After Re-Signing With IMPACT IMPACT Wrestling

Josh Alexander is ready for the biggest match of his career at IMPACT Rebellion following re-signing with the company.

The Walking Weapon recently signed a new contract with IMPACT Wrestling and wants to proudly wave the company flag.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the IMPACT star claimed that he never considered going to AEW and is bothered by the company being seen as a stepping stone.

Alexander said:

“I’ve always been bothered that IMPACT has been used as a stepping stone. To me, that’s a knock against the company. I had other options, but I chose to stay with IMPACT Wrestling. I never wanted to leave. Brandi [Rhodes] calling me out in AEW, that prompted the news cycle to think I was going to AEW, but I never wanted to leave IMPACT.”

Josh Alexander is set to challenge for the IMPACT World Title against Moose at this Saturday’s pay-per-view, Rebellion.

In regards to the showdown with Moose, The Walking Weapon said:

“This is the biggest match of my 17-year career. But this isn’t just for me. It’s for my family and my fans, the ones that have stuck with me. It’s been a long road to get here. I’m going to show that emotion, that motivation and the heart that brought me to this point—and that’s going to make me world champion.”

Alexander and Moose have crafted a compelling rivalry that has seen the IMPACT World Champion target the challenger’s family and even spear his wife.
