Former WWE and current NWA star JTG recently spoke about how he looks to keep the memory of his former partner Shad Gaspard alive with his current run, after his tragic passing in May 2020.
Speaking with Metro UK, the former Cryme Tyme member said:
“Besides my passion, it would definitely be representing both Shad and myself. I’m not just representing myself anymore. When people see JTG, Jay Tha Gawd, they automatically think of Shad. I wanna make sure I represent the team and myself and him in the best light possible, and keep Cryme Tyme alive with whatever I do forwards.”
Gaspard tragically passed away when he was caught in a riptide saving his son.
JTG debuted for NWA at the recent When Our Shadows Fall pay-per-view on June 6, where he defeated Fred Rosser.
