The backstage reaction from the members of WWE’s Judgment Day to the group’s breakup at SummerSlam has been revealed.

The Judgment Day group as we knew it was compromised to a permanent end on last weekend’s SummerSlam event, when two major angles tour the group apart.

Dominik Mysterio betrayed his Mami Rhea Ripley in the opening match, helping Liv Morgan retain her Women’s World Championship, and revealing their alliance after months of segments.

Later in the night, Finn Balor also betrayed Damian Priest during Priest’s World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther, costing Priest the championship.

The group splintering comes after almost two years of them being a key feature on the Raw brand, and the backstage reaction from the group on their split has been revealed.

Per WRKD Wrestling, members of the Judgment Day group were sentimental and emotional backstage at WWE SummerSlam ahead of the group’s split that ultimately took place that night.

It was also noted that the group received praise backstage for the successful big payoffs to their angles on the show, which continued into the following night’s WWE Raw.
