It was reported several months ago that Juice Robinson’s New Japan Pro Wrestling contract was set to expire in January, and that he was expected to get ‘multiple offers’.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is now reporting that Robinson is in fact a free agent, with his contract expiring on January 31.
Fightful has not heard any future plans regarding Robinson potentially re-signing with NJPW or whether he would be going elsewhere, just that his contract has expired.
Robinson has been working for NJPW USA during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as appearing for IMPACT Wrestling. No update on his IMPACT status was given.
