Juice Robinson has addressed a recent report about his NJPW contract expiring, revealing how long he has left before his current deal ends.
Last week, Fightful Select reported that Robinson is expected to receive multiple offers from different companies when his contract expires in January.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, The former IWGP US Champion has confirmed that he will be a free agent by February 2022. Arguing that it could be time for him to show the world what he’s capable of, Robinson said:
“I’ll be a free agent (in) February. It’s a great time in wrestling to show up anywhere, and maybe it’s the right time for me to spread my wings and fly.”
Robinson signed a multi-year deal in early 2019. Since February, the NJPW star has been appearing regularly for IMPACT, winning the promotion’s Tag Team Championship with David Finlay at Sacrifice in March.
Robinson is set to face IMPACT World Champion Moose at NJPW Battle In The Valley this Saturday.
