WWE is set to make their return to Madison Square Garden for tonight’s July 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, which serves as the go-home show for SummerSlam.
The show is big for many reasons, with it being the first episode following Vince McMahon’s retirement, as well as honoring Rey Mysterio’s 20-year anniversary and the first Roman Reigns match on Raw since September 2021.
The show was officially a complete sell out as of last week, and per Fightful Select (subscription required), executives were told last week that the show is set to be the highest grossing episode of WWE Raw of 2022 so far.
There is reportedly set to be an ‘actual’ celebration of Rey Mysterio’s 20th anniversary on the show, with a cake and other ‘significant props’ being planned for the segment.
