That’s right, as Ring of Honor have recently announced, Jushin Thunder Liger will return to ROH on September 29 for Death Before Dishonor. The pay-per-view event will be held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
ROHWrestling.com reminds us that Liger, easily one of Japan’s most famous attractions, has squared off against many ROH greats in the past. These major names include: Bryan Danielson, Low Ki, Jay Lethal, Dalton Castle, and Cody.
At New Japan’s Dominion show this past June, we got to see Liger and Rey Mysterio share the same ring again after a long drought. The fact is, many dream matches with American wrestlers remain for the legend.
As of now, Liger’s opponent for Death Before Dishonor has not been revealed, but a certain CHAOS vs. Bullet Club affair has been announced for the show. The 10-man tag will see Kazuchika Okada, Trent Baretta, Tomohiro Ishii, Rocky Romero & Chucky T. face The Young Bucks, Cody, Marty Scurll, and Hangman Page.
