Former NXT Women’s Champion and winner of the inaugural Mae Young Classic, Kairi Sane, has been brought up to Smackdown in tonight’s Superstar Shake-Up. Last week, Paige teased she would be bringing a new team to Smackdown and the former Smackdown General Manager revealed tonight that she will be representing Sane and her new partner, Asuka.

Sane is not the only new arrival on Smackdown tonight, two other former NXT Women’s Champions in Ember Moon and Bayley have also made the jump to the blue brand. Moon, Bayley, Sane and Asuka then teamed up in eight-woman tag action to take on the team of The IIconics, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.

It is nice to see Kairi on the main roster, but it is even nicer to see that WWE learnt their lesson from last night and didn’t rename her “The Pirate Experience” after they came under fire for renaming War Raiders to “The Viking Experience”.
