Kairi Sane & Former WWE Star Spotted Training Together

Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL has been spotted training with a former WWE star currently signed to TNA Wrestling.

The former two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion shared a photo and short video on social media showing herself and Lei Ying Lee at the gym.

Lei Ying Lee is currently signed to TNA Wrestling and previously was known as Xia Li in WWE.

Making her TNA Wrestling debut in September 2024, Lei Ling Lee officially signed with the company in October of that year.

She was released from her WWE contract in April 2024, having joined the company in January 2017.

During her time in WWE, Xia Li competed in the Mae Young Classic, going on to be drafted to NXT before heading to the main roster in 2021.

Following her WWE release, Deonna Purazzo and Taya Valkryie of AEW both shared their support of the departing star.

Kairi Sane signed with WWE in March 2017, going on to compete in the Mae Young Classic before heading to NXT.

She is a former NXT Champion and has teld the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice with Asuka.

In 2021, she became WWE’s ambassador in Japan and would return to the company in August 2023 having left Stardom.
