Kamille Makes AEW Return After 18 Months Away, Wins Return Match At Dynasty 2026

AEW star Kamille made her return after 18 months away on the Zero Hour pre-show for tonight’s AEW Dynasty event.

After debuting on AEW television as Mercedes Mone’s muscle in July 2024, former NWA Women’s World Champion Kamille has been off AEW television since November 2024, her last match being a loss to Kris Statlander on the October 30, 2024 episode of Dynamite.

Kamille would quit her job as Mercedes’ bodyguard the following month, with her then being found attacked backstage, the culprit never being revealed, and Kamille missing 18 months of AEW television.

Kamille Makes AEW Return At Dynasty

Now, Kamille is once again back in the fold in AEW, with her making her return on the Zero Hour pre-show for tonight’s Dynasty pay-per-view event in Vancouver.

Kamille would attack TBS Champion Willow Nightingale backstage ahead of the show, before going on to compete in her return match on the Zero Hour itself, picking up a dominant victory over Big Anne.

After the match, Willow Nightingale made her way out to the ring, attempting to get her revenge on Kamille for the attack earlier in the night.

Willow has picked up a recent reputation as the ‘Comeback Killer’, with her knocking off both Hikaru Shida and Queen Aminata in their return matches over the past weeks.

Who Is Next To Return To AEW?

With Kamille back in the fold, there are still a number of other potential AEW stars we could see make their return to television to face Willow Nightingale.

The most obvious being the former champion Mercedes Mone, who has been off AEW television since January, though she has been competing in various other promotions, losing her championships.

Britt Baker is another absent women’s star we could see return to the company soon, with Tony Khan consistently mentioning that he would ‘love’ to have Britt back in the fold amid her absence.

On the men’s side, Wardlow, who will star in the upcoming American Gladiators reboot alongside Kamille, has been out of action since September, as well as ‘Switchblade’ Jay White, who has missed a year of action due to an injury suffered last April, could also both soon make their returns to the promotion.

Kyle O’Reilly is also currently out of action, though he is reportedly set to make his return to AEW television at tonight’s Dynasty event.
