Kane Hails WWE Star As Future ‘Impact Player’

Former WWE World Champion Kane has hailed one particular WWE star as having huge potential and being a future “impact player”.

The ‘Big Red Monster’ returned as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble last night, but was eliminated by another surprise entrant in Damian Priest.

Speaking about Priest in an interview with WWE after the match, Kane said:

“He’s got a ton of potential. I mean it stinks because I would have liked to be in the match longer. But he’s going to be an impact player in WWE. I think you’re going to see a lot more moments like that from him in the future.”

Priest was officially moved to the main roster a few weeks ago but this was his first appearance. He eliminated Elias, The Miz, John Morrison and Kane before being eliminated himself by Bobby Lashley.

He was originally going to be brought onto SmackDown as Kevin Owens’ best friend to combat Roman Reigns and Jey Uso, but smarter heads prevailed.
