WWE Backstage Reaction To Karrion Kross Viral Promo Revealed

The WWE backstage reaction to Karrion Kross venting his frustrations in a now viral promo has now been revealed.

Despite WrestleMania 41 taking place in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kross didn’t compete on either night of action, instead wrestling in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on that week’s SmackDown episode.

Following his brief appearance during the AJ Styles vs Logan Paul WrestleMania 41 match, Kross made headlines for a scathing promo he cut while speaking with Sam Roberts and Megan Morant during their WrestleMania after-show.

Karrion Kross blurred the lines between work and shoot with this promo, referencing his lack of opportunities and previous release, arguing that being passionate about wrestling “doesn’t mean s**t” anymore, and concluding with the following message for the “guy in the suite and tie in the truck”:

“Become undeniable? My ass. My ass. You want a viral moment? On behalf of all the true fans of professional wrestling, guy with the suit and tie in the truck go f**k yourself. That’s from Killer Kross.”

Per Fightful Select, Kross doesn’t have heat within WWE following his comments, but this segment did “turn heads.”

The report noted that while this segment wasn’t scripted for Karrion Kross – nor were other interviews on this show – this segment required some approval before making it into the final cut of the show, due to explicit language.

“Numerous” WWE wrestlers reportedly reached out to Kross after this promo, both to check on him and to thank him for cutting this promo in a way that would work with his character.

Karrion Kross has since appeared on the April 21 Raw episode, in a backstage segment with AJ Styles.
