Speaking with Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement, NXT Champion Karrion Kross has stated that he wants to see a major All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star eventually return to WWE.
Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose) left WWE in April 2019 and debuted for AEW at Double or Nothing a few months later. Karrion Kross has said that he thinks Moxley will return to WWE eventually.
Kross said:
I might get in trouble for this but Jon Moxley. I hope he comes back one day. I think he will. Not that I would know or anything has been said. I hope for that one day. If he does, he’ll have to go through me. We have unfinished business.”
Jon Moxley was the second-ever AEW World Champion, beating Chris Jericho at Revolution in February 2020. Moxley held the title for nine months before dropping it to Kenny Omega on the December 2 episode of Dynamite.
Jon Moxley will be in action on tomorrow night’s episode of Dynamite, teaming with former rival Eddie Kingston to take on Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa in tag team competition.
