NJPW star Katsuyori Shibata made his return to All Elite Wrestling on tonight’s (November 2) episode of AEW Dynamite.
On tonight’s show, Orange Cassidy put his All-Atlantic Championship on the line against both Luchasaurus and Rey Fenix in a three-way match.
The match came attached with a stipulation, that would see the winner take part in an ‘All-Atlantic City Dream Match’ on this week’s episode of AEW Rampage.
Cassidy won the match, pinning Fenix after Fenix refused to use the hammer that Pac handed him, leading to him being pinned by Cassidy to retain the belt.
Pac jumped Cassidy after the match, before NJPW star Katsuyori Shibata made his return to AEW programming, helping Orange Cassidy.
Cassidy and Shibata then signed the contract for an All-Atlantic Championship match this Friday on AEW Rampage.
Shibata made his first appearance for AEW back at the Forbidden Door event, where he also came to the aid of Orange Cassidy, helping him against Will Ospreay.
