Whether you know him as Keiji Muto or The Great Muta, Muto has been a legend in wrestling and his career is now at an end.
The final stop on Muto’s retirement tour took place at Keiji Muto Grand Final Pro-Wrestling “Last-Love.”
The show brought together wrestlers from Pro Wrestling NOAH, NJPW, TJPW, Dragongates, AJPW and DDT.
The Japanese wrestling legend wouldn’t bring his career to an end in a single match, however, wrestling twice on the same show instead!
Tetsuya Naito was able to defeat Muto in a hard-hitting affair, but Muto would go on to call out Masahiro Chono for an impromptu match.
Chono would also be successful in defeating Muto, bringing to an end the retirement tour that has also seen him face the likes of WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura and team with AEW’s Sting and Darby Allin.
