Keith Lee Addresses AEW Return Status

Keith Lee has shared an update on his potential return to AEW programming amid his lengthy absence.

With his last match in AEW coming on the December 23 episode of AEW Collision, fans have long been seeking updates on the status and potential return of Keith Lee.

With previous reports stating that Lee was dealing with an undisclosed medical issue, Lee last month responded to a fan who enquired about his status, saying that he was “confident” the time will come when he makes his return to in-ring action.

On June 26, Lee once again took to Twitter in response to fans’ querying about his status, clarifying that it’s not up to him when he makes his comeback.

Lee wrote:

Again, I am quite fine. It is not up to me when it comes to a return. But blessings to you as well.

Responding to another fan, Lee wrote:

I’ve been good for quite some time, though I do appreciate the concern. But no campaign required. Things happen the way they are suppose to, and eventually, the purpose will show itself.

It remains unclear when Lee will make his return to AEW but we will provide further updates on his status as/when they become available.

We continue to wish Keith Lee well in his absence.
