There has been an update on Keith Lee’s current AEW status after missing over nine months of in-ring action.
Keith has not competed since AEW Collision Holiday Bash last December, where he scored a victory over Brian Cage on the show.
The reason for Keith’s absence has not been reported in the months since his absence, and we now have an update on his status.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), they were told that Keith Lee has still yet to be cleared for a return to action due to an undisclosed medical issue.
Keith was originally set to face off against Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End last year, which would have finally been the clash between the two men after they broke up almost a year prior.
In the days ahead of the match, Keith was sidelined and has yet to make his return.
Keith has not been a regular at AEW TV tapings in quite some time, nor has he been factored in creatively.
Keith remains on the AEW roster and is still under contract with the company.
