Ahead of tonight’s season premiere episode of SmackDown, former North American and NXT Champion Keith Lee has teased that he’ll be appearing at the ThunderDome for tonight’s show.
Taking to Twitter this afternoon, the former NXT star and current Raw wrestler teased that he’ll be appearing on SmackDown for the first time since he debuted on the main roster after SummerSlam this year:
Thinking I will join the #WWEThunderDome for the season premiere of #SmackDown tonight, scout that the Universal Championship match between @WWERomanReigns and @BraunStrowman. Good luck gentlemen.
This will not be the first time that Keith Lee has appeared on SmackDown, if he does turn up on tonight’s show. Keith Lee was one of the NXT stars that invaded SmackDown in the build to Survivor Series last year.
Next week on Raw, Keith Lee is going to go one-on-one with Braun Strowman. This comes two weeks after their exhibition match went to a double count-out. If he does appear on the show, it’ll be to build to the match and continue his feud with Strowman.
It’s important to note that as of right now, there have been no reports indicating that WWE is planning on bringing Keith Lee to SmackDown for an angle on tonight’s show. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for any potential updates.
