What Happened With Kenny Omega After AEW Dynamite March 15 AEW

Here’s what happened with Kenny Omega after Wednesday’s (March 15) edition of AEW Dynamite at the went off the air.

On this week’s show, the House of Black defended the AEW Trios Championship against Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia & Sammy Guevara of the Jericho Appreciation Society, and Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks.

After Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews and Brody King retained their gold, a brawl ensued. The show went off the air with Hangman Page in the ring with the Elite.

After the cameras stopped rolling, Omega cut a promo for the live crowd, and signed off with his signature ‘goodbye and goodnight’ line he made famous while wrestling for Bullet Club.

Reflecting on this Canadian episode of Dynamite, Omega said:

“I suppose if there’s one thing that tonight has taught me, it’s to never forget where you came from. Family is family, home is where the heart is.

“You can always choose your friends. One lesson I’ve learned as well, I’ve supposed it’s that if you’ve loved before, it’s possible to possibly love again.

“Today, wow. What a success. Everything you see before you, this was nothing but a pipe dream. I was happy wrestling (names several places in Canada), Chalmers Rec Center.

“Then of course we have this little shindig. Stop me if you’ve heard this before. I think it was from a famous movie or something. If you build it, they will come.

“Boy, oh boy, did you guys come down for a show tonight. Though I am not a psychic, I do not have ESP, I have ESPN, by the looks of the crowd tonight, my guess is that we’ll be back.

“I would love to say the famous line. However, we still have more wrestling for each and every one of you.

“So that ticket that you purchased, it’s still good for one more hour of professional wrestling, so please stick around for a great episode of Rampage.

“It’s coming up for you next. In case you have a curfew, a bedtime, anything like that, yeah, sure, I’ guess I’ll say the line. So for now, I must bid you adieu, so goodbye everyone, and goodnight. Bang.”
