Kenny Omega’s opponent and challenger for the AEW Dynasty 2025 pay-per-view in Philadelphia on Sunday, April 6 has been confirmed.
At AEW Revolution, Omega defeated Konosuke Takeshita to win the International Championship.
After that, a tournament kicked off on AEW TV to determine who would challenge Omega for the title at Dynasty.
The tournament first round consisted of:
Ricochet def. Katsuyori Shibata
Mark Davis def. Mark Briscoe
Speedball Mike Bailey def. The Beast Mortos
Orange Cassidy def. Hechicero
The four winners advanced to a four-way match on tonight’s March 19 Dynamite to determine Omega’s Dynasty challenger.
The match came to an end with both Ricochet and Speedball Mike Bailey simultaneously pinning Mark Davis.
Therefore, they were both declared winners and will both challenge Omega for the International Championship at AEW Dynasty in a three-way match.
