Kenny Omega AEW Dynasty Opponent Update

An update on Kenny Omega’s opponent for the AEW International Championship at the upcoming Dynasty pay-per-view event.

Omega captured his first championship in AEW in two years at AEW Revolution, when he picked up the victory over Konosuke Takeshita to capture the International Championship.

Following Omega’s victory, it was announced that an International Championship Eliminator Tournament would determine Omega’s challenger for the upcoming AEW Dynasty event.

The tournament kicked off on this week’s Dynamite show, when Speedball Mike Bailey debuted as the Wildcard in the tournament, defeating the Beast Mortos, while Orange Cassidy scored the victory over Hechicero in the main event.

On tonight’s Collision show, the final two first round matches of the tournament took place, with Ricochet defeating Katsuyori Shibata and Mark Davis defeating Mark Briscoe.

The four men will face off in a four-way match on next week’s Dynamite show, with the winner advancing to AEW Dynasty to face Kenny Omega for the International Championship.
