Kenny Omega AEW Grand Slam Australia Match Announced AEW

Kenny Omega’s match for the upcoming AEW Grand Slam Australia show has been made official on tonight’s Dynamite.

Kenny Omega made his return to the ring after over a year away due to Diverticulitis back on January 5, where he defeated Gabe Kidd at AEW x NJPW Wrestle Dynasty in the Tokyo Dome.

Omega would return to Dynamite the following week, getting into a fight with Don Callis and the Don Callis Family before being saved by Will Ospreay.

Omega and Ospreay would again stand side by side last week following Omega’s victory over Brian Cage, with Ospreay calling out Omega for a face to face on tonight’s Dynamite show.

The face to face kicked off the show, with things getting heated between the two before Don Callis would interrupt, before a brawl ensued with Omega, Ospreay and the Don Callis Family.

The brawl ended with Omega and Ospreay hitting stereo dives on the Family, before Omega challenged Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita to a tag team match against the two of them at Grand Slam Australia.
