Kenny Omega’s championship match for next weekend’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view has now been confirmed on tonight’s Dynamite.

At AEW Grand Slam Australia, the dream alliance of Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay picked up the victory in tag team action over the Don Callis Family’s Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher.

With Omega scoring the pinfall victory over the International Champion, he earned a shot at the title at AEW Revolution on March 9, though the champion had yet to be finalised.

Following Omega’s victory, an AEW International Championship series began, with the winner facing off against Kenny Omega at Revolution.

The series begun with Orange Cassidy defeating Roderick Strong on last week’s episode of Dynamite, which earned him a championship match with Takeshita on tonight’s show, with the winner facing Omega at Revolution.
