The situation involving CM Punk and AEW has been all anyone can talk about over the past 48 hours since it’s been announced that the company had tentitively planned a return for the former AEW World Champion.
Punk has not appeared since the now infamous All Out media scrum, where he ran down the Elite and Hangman Adam Page, before getting involved in a backstage altercation with the Elite.
Amid reports of a potential Punk return, Kenny Omega took to Twitter to make reference to Punk and the rumours while hyping up his segment on next week’s Dynamite.
He said:
Since everyone is asking, I’ll spill the beans… I have a huge problem with certain people on our roster – And they happen to be members of the Blackpool Combat Club!
I’ll speak more about it Wednesday on #AEWDynamite
Omega and the Young Bucks are currently involved in a rivalry with the Blackpool Combat Club on Dynamite, seemingly to set up a match between the two sides at Double or Nothing.
