Kenny Omega Criticizes WWE’s Mixed Tag Rules

Ever since the turn of the PG Era in WWE, Mixed Tag Team matches that take place in the company require the women and men to tag out whenever the competitor of the other gender enters the match.

AEW star Kenny Omega reacted to a clip of a mixed tag team match he had, where he teamed with Riho against Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford. The clip showed off an exchange that Omega had in the ring with Ford during the bout.

Reacting to the clip on Twitter, Omega said:

Best mix match in AEW history by far. It helped that it was an actual match and not the weird “must tag out” rules. Those suck real bad.

Omega has been out of action since he lost the AEW World Championship to Hangman Adam Page at Full Gear last year. He recently commented on a potential dream match with Roman Reigns.
