Kenny Omega Addresses Using GTS On AEW Dynamite AEW

The Elite and Death Triangle battled it out in the second match of the Trios Championship Best Of 7 series on the November 23 edition of AEW Dynamite.

As earlier reported, people in CM Punk’s camp were not exactly happy with a few of the spots in the match.

And no wonder. The match took place in CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago and featured some interesting taunts.

In what appeared to be reference to the alleged events of the infamous backstage fight after All Out, Kenny Omega bit Pac’s arm.

Ace Steel was alleged to have done this to Omega during the altercation.

The match also saw Omega using CM Punk’s finisher, the GTS, or G2S, as some prefer to call it.

Japanese wrestling veteran KENTA notably used the G2S before CM Punk adopted the move. In the past, KENTA has been vocal in his disapproval of  CM Punk using the move.

Following this week’s Dynamite, Omega took to Twitter to thank KENTA for the move and referenced their time as part of the Bullet Club.

Omega wrote:

“Thank you, @KENTAG2S. Always a good brother. Bullet Club 4-Life amirite?”

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks lost to Death Triangle in second match of the Trios Tournament during AEW Dynamite.

The third match in the best-of-seven series will take place on the next edition of Dynamite on November 30.
