AEW has announced a new match for next week’s AEW: Dynamite. This will be the first match for Kenny Omega on Dynamite since winning the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at Winter is Coming.
Kenny Omega will be facing off against Joey Janela in a no disqualification match. According to the tweet below, the match is being set up due to Janela having to miss the AEW Eliminator Tournament, where he was set to face Kenny Omega.
The tweet continues that if Joey Janela is able to win the match, then he can win a shot for the AEW Title. The graphic also states Don Callis will be accompanying Kenny Omega to the ring.

Kenny Omega cut a promo entering the airport on Janela. He said he has lots of people wanting to know what would have happened if he had faced the opponents he was supposed to face instead of replacements.

Does this mean we might get Kenny vs. Fenix? That would be a great little Christmas present on the upcoming AEW: Dynamites.
