Kenny Omega has reacted to Ric Flair attacking him during his match with Andrade El Idolo at Triplemania XXIX.
During the August 14 show, Omega defeated Andrade to retain the AAA Mega Championship. At one point in the match, Flair chopped Omega, and tied Konnan up with a Figure Four leglock.
Omega has taken to Twitter to address the WWE Hall of Famer’s appearance. Telling Andrade and Flair that they made things personal, the AAA Mega Champion tweeted:
“Hey @AndradeElIdolo, I’ll admit it. You’re tough, you came close. But that stunt with @RicFlairNatrBoy? Not in 2021, and not in my ring, pal. You made it personal.”
Omega also retweeted a clip from a backstage interview, where he argued that the night would’ve been even better if he recreated the end of Flair’s WrestleMania 24 retirement match:
There you have it. https://t.co/fRnEUsGaPu

Following his IMPACT World Championship loss on Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, Omega also informed Cage that things between them are now personal. According to Omega, it’s the Belt Collector against the world.
Omega will defend his AEW World Championship against Cage at AEW All Out on September 5.
