Kenny Omega has been spotted out and about over the past few days, regardless of his current absence from AEW due to suspension.
Omega was spotted in Japan yesterday and has been spotted again, this time with Omega himself doing the posting.
Hopping on to IG to thank Sega for his fun day, Kenny Omega wrote in the caption:
“Thank you @sega for the amazing tour, and for creating a character model of me in the Yakuza engine 👀”
Just yesterday, Sega announced that not only was there going to be another Yakuza game on the way, but they also dropped a trailer.
Kenny Omega may be suspended from All Elite Wrestling but it didn’t seem to cancel his trip to Japan in support of the upcoming AEW video game, AEW Fight Forever.
As the trip was rumored well in advance of the fall out after AEW All Out, it is not explicitly known that Omega will proceed with appearing at the Tokyo Game Show as previously expected.
The tweet from AEW about the presence at TGS2022 keeps it a little vague, noting:
“We’re hyped to announce that #AEW is heading to Japan for #TGS2022! Gamers in attendance can drop by the @THQNordic booth to experience a playable #AEWFightForever demo & watch live exhibition matches featuring @AEW stars!
“Stay tuned for more from the Tokyo Game Show! #AEWgames”
Kenny Omega however is definitely in Japan not only evidenced by his trip to the Sega HQ but also an adorable reunion with a golden old pal.
