Kenny Omega had everything to do with the success of this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling. Now, the question will be if he is on the show week-to-week.
This storyline involving him and Don Callis is clearly ongoing and Impact executive Scott D’Amore teased that Omega would be on the show come next Tuesday. Here is what he had to say:
“Don Callis alluded to this being years in the making. Paradigms don’t shift in one night. See you on Tuesday.”
Kenny Omega has hinted at becoming a championship collector with his current character. With the AAA Mega Championship and the AEW World Championship in hand, what comes next is still a mystery. He did name the Impact World Championship as a potential title he could go after as well.
Although Omega had said he had a big announcement for AEW Dynamite this week, no announcement came. He and Callis cut a similar promo to the one they had cut on Impact before saying people weren’t ready for the announcement.
This week’s Impact broke all of their streaming records by a country mile.
